I mean think about it. You dont even need it!! All the verses are on the screen and even if they arent some dude will probably read them out loud. I know I have had this thought before. At times I dont see the need in it. I feel like it seems so elementary to bring your Bible to church. Its as if we are back in grade school and we are going to get a sticker on our chart for bringing it. Most of the time when I do bring it, I accidentaly leave it at church anyways.
Lets face it!! Its not about bringing your BIble to church as much as its about you desiring to know Christ. Its about us understanding that Gods word will transform us, change our lives, give us purpose, and help us see Christ each day. Think about this for a second. Do you ever walk in the dark without a flashlight? It makes it difficult to see and we often trip and stumble. We wack our knee on something or stubb our toe. Without a light it is hard to see!! Think about this ....Gods word is your flashlight in life. It will help you to get through life on the right path. In Psalms it says " Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalms 119:105
Make an effort to bring Gods word with you to church and in life. Come to learn and to see Christ.
