hello lovelies!!!!
so pastor calls me and tells me i need to do a blog!!! no topic nothin! thanks pastor!
anyway! ... growing up my mom has ALWAYS read the same scripture during Lord's Supper! I have always wanted to be like mother and read a scripture during the Lord's Supper! But she told me once that I needed a scripture that talks to me! So looking for one i found my FAVORITE verse Psalm 121. So actually it’s a whole entire chapter! haha.
 
I lift my eyes up to the hills-
   where does my help come from?
 
My help comes from the LORD,
    maker of heaven and earth.
 
He will not let your foot slip-
    He who watches over you will not slumber;
 
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
 
The LORD watches over you-
    the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
 
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
 
the LORD will keep you from all harm-
    he will watch over your life;
 
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.
 
This is my favorite chapter in the whole bible!! :) I like this chapter because it reassures me that Christ will always be there for me when I need him. Sometimes I think we need to be reminded that Christ is beside us always and never leaves us. Sometimes I forget that and I feel all alone I just don’t know what to do or where to go. This verse reminds me that God IS watching over me and I AM safe.
When you read scripture what are you thinkin about? Are you worried about what God has to say to you or what you’re going to do after your done reading? God's word is written for each one of us. No matter what you’re going through or what you have been through, God has something to say to everyone through the messages in the Bible, we just need to take the time to listen to Him.
