HELP WANTEDPosted on October 31, 2009 by Brian

Your school shows you a video of invisible children and you want to know what you can do to help.  You have seen the poor in the world and you want to know how you can send money.  You go to Winterfest and see a 12 year old boy who started shooting baskets and raised millions for Africa....you want to be him.  You see the kid at school who everyone picks on and feel like you should do something.  You want to read your bible and talk to God but never seem to get started.  You want to follow God and want to find ways to do it but we dont know what to do.  I truly believe that you, me, and many others want to serve and live a life for Him but we dont know how.  We dont know how, so we dont do anything.  We look at things and think that we  wont make a difference, we put it off till another day, we push it out of our brain so that we dont have to feel the guilt.  Over and over again throughout my life i have set expectations for myself based on what people thought.  I compared myself to others and thought I was not capable of doing something.   A friend of mine told me a quote the other day that said " In a year you may wish you had started today". What can you do for God?  Why do you wait?  Why not take action and do something that matters.  School, prom, jobs, football games, whos popular, what you wear, your ipod, video games, and so many other things will not matter at the end of your life.  Dont limit what God can do but be willing to take action.

DO NOT LET ANYONE LOOK DOWN ON YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE YOUNG
