Despite a weekend of pouring rain we drove to quartz mt and had an amazing weekend talking about Gods Crazy Love. We had a fun drive to Quartz as Kelly Kindrick led us through the whichita mts to see some Bison and amazing scenery. We also drove down the muddiest road ever but we made it to camp and made a good memory along the way. :) We talked about how awesome God was and yet how sometimes we have "Spiritual Amnesia". We also discussed how God has an amazing love for us and how we have to respond to that love and not be lukewarm. The weekend was amazing and it was so encouraging to be with a group of students who truly want to know Christ. I have to say thank you to Jason Dean, Cindy Minor, Jo Sutherlin, Mike Finley, Kelly Kindrick, Sherrie Horton for sponsoring the trip and also Kyle Parasich for helping me plan everything. I also have to say thank you to our students who reminded me why I love teenagers! Thank you guys!!
PS. My fav memory of the weekend-- Me, Laura, Dustee and Andrew chewed more bubble gum than I have chewed in the past year. It was hilarious! Thanks Laura for the challenge!
